Dred Scott Decision-Vinnie Calhoun & Petter Petrasy-Tara's Office

 Dred Scott wasn't his real name, his real name was actually Sam Scott but when his young brother Dred died, he decided to take Dred as his first name. 
He was an african slave who fought for his rights and his fellow slaves.He decided to sue for his freedom after his owner would not let him live freely. his case went all the way to the supreme court.
