Child Soildiers in the Civil War Isabella peterson and Izzy Mctighe Karens Office

This is a news paper article about little Johnny Clem the youngest soldier in the civil war. Little johnny ran away from home at age 10 to enlist in the civil war. At age 12 he shot a colonial and was named Sargent.  He was not happy with his new part in the war and rudely remarked "after all I have done, all I get is this.". Little johnny was also in a book about kid soldiers Called a Boys War.

This is a book and movie called Too Young To Die.  It is about underaged children going into the war and being killed.  This book is by patricia fox-sheinwold.
