Tony green in deborah's class

My subject was sectionalism. The quilt piece that I made showed the north and south being separated by barbed wire which represents how different the two parts of the country were. This piece is significant because it shows state lines  and where they separate into north and south. It also tells us through picture just how much the two sections of the U.S. disagreed back then. The south has a little sketch of a slave being owned and the north shows a slave being free. These drawings represent free and not free.
