Fugitive Slave Act, Isabella Peterson and Lara Tucker Karens class

This is a picture of a speech presented by  John Hossack who spoke out against the Fugitive Slave Act. He was an abolitionist and his home was a stop on the Underground Railroad.  He was convicted for viotating the Act by helping Jim Gray, an African American escape slave catchers.  The speech was agianst the fugitive slave act.
