This is an old newspaper article about the book Uncle Tom's Cabin. Uncle Tom's Cabin is a book written in the 1900s by Harriet Beecher Stowe, to publish her opinion about slavery. She believed  very strongly in getting rid of slavery. Of course, many people disagreed with her views, and said that she was exaggerating and that it was too insignificant to write about. It was a major participant in starting the Civil War.
