Huang Chee and Will Bostick, Civil War Music!!

Civil War Music was very important during those times. They were important for different things such as boosting morale, getting away from homesickness, or simply for recreational purposes. In camps, soldiers brought musical instruments such as banjos, guitars, bugles, drums, and fifes. The music during the Civil War influenced many people just to think about other things that don't involve blood, loved ones, and the outcome of the war. Music was basically a special place to go to when you were bored, sad or simply to have fun.
