Pickett's Charge was the last Confederate act in the Battle of Gettysburg. General George Pickett led the battle on General Meade but at 7:00 pm after the intense fighting the whole division was taken out. The Union won that battle. In Pickett's division there were about 5,500 men. During the charge almost 3,000 were ether killed, captured, or wounded. These famous words"General Lee, I have no division." will be remembered through out history. |
