Roles of Women in the Civil war, Julia Canfield and October Durkee Miller Karens Office

 A very important role that women filled during the civil war was being spies. This is a picture of a very successful confederate spy named Rose O'Neal Greenhow. She was such a good spy that she was credited with winning the battle of Manassas. Lots of other women were spies during the civil war, like Belle Floyd and Elizabeth Van Lew.
